This is a terrific dealership. Whenever I have gone there, every single person met along the way was great. I will send people to this dealership. More specifically, Bob Reyes was great to work with. 398 Route 37, Toms River, NJ now belongs solely to Lester Glenn Chevrolet. We will also be updating the building shortly, which will be open for business during the remodeling. Stay tuned for definite dates.

In case you haven’t heard, Lester Glenn Mazda is now located at 1408 Route 9, Toms River, NJ, right next to our Collision Center. The outside of Mazda and the Collision Center are currently under remodeling, but both are open for business!

Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has a huge hole in our inventory lot (101 Route 37, Toms River, NJ)! We aren’t worried though. It’s to make sure our lots stay puddle free when it gets paved! No more rocks, just nice smooth pavement.

Are our Buick and GMC customers feeling left out? You won’t shortly! Expect a brand new Lester Glenn Buick/GMC showroom shortly. It will be in the same location (230 Route 37, Toms River, NJ), but brand new.

For the next year, Lester Glenn Auto Group will have one of our Santa Fe’s parked on our showroom floor. Nothing new, right? Wrong! We have designated a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe to be our Autism Speaks vehicle.

Over the next year, every customer at Lester Glenn Hyundai of Toms River will be able to sign the vehicle. Next August, the Santa Fe will be donated to a charity event for Autism Speaks and will be auctioned off. All money raised from the auction will go directly to this amazing organization.

So what is Autism? From the Autism Speaks website, “Autism is a general term used to describe a group of complex developmental brain disorders known as Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD). The other pervasive developmental disorders are PDD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified), Asperger Syndrome, Rett Syndrome and Childhood Disintegrative Disorder. Many parents and professionals refer to this group as Autism Spectrum Disorders.”

The site further estimates “that one in every 110 children is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined.” Of which, there is no known cause and/or cure for Autism.

When I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by the smiling faces of the Sales Staff and then proceeded to the general manager, Tom Allen’s office. After a bit of the normal banter, I mentioned that I saw the Accent on the truck and just wanted to take a closer look when it arrived. That’s all it took.

Tom handed me over to Ralph Grande to crunch some numbers, and see if they could get the numbers where I wanted them to be. It didn’t take long for me to realize that Team Hawk would do anything possible to make the deal work for both of us and we quickly agreed on a more than fair number as the hauler pulled into the lot.

The car I thought was on the hauler didn’t have all the options I was looking for, but the Accent we worked the deal on was the one I wanted. Luck would have it that the my vehicle that was “In Transport” had just arrived at our Toms River location. Scott McIlvaine had a driver pick up the car and bring it down to me to guarantee it was “The One.” Mike Tomaine worked diligently to make sure I was getting the best rate possible with numerous banks. I even had the pleasure of having Tom Allen, write up all my paperwork. Talk about the Lester Glenn experience!

The detailers in the back did an amazing job. The car was immaculate when it was done and ready for me to drive off the lot. I had the advantage of seeing how hard Team Hawk worked to make sure they take care of their customers and couldn’t have asked for a better, unexpected experience.  Thanks to all at Lester Glenn Hyundai of Manahawkin.

For those of you who follow us on the Lester Glenn Auto Group Facebook Fan Page, you may have seen that we have recently acquired Chevrolet which makes 10 different makes we offer at great prices to our customers.  This means we need to grow again!

We will also have a barbeque cooking up burgers and hot dogs, as well as a blow-up Tropical Obstacle Course at Lester Glenn Hyundai of Toms River. Swing on in and enjoy a fun filled day. Allow us to give you the Lester Glenn experience!

If you aren’t a fan of our Facebook Page or haven’t been on our website in a while, you may not have seen that Chevrolets will soon be at Lester Glenn Auto Group.  On April 13, 2011 at 1:30 pm the president of Lester Glenn Auto Group, Adam Kraushaar, made it official by signing the contract with Chevy reps.

This means Lester Glenn will soon offer TEN different makes for you to choose from: Buick, GMC, Hyundai of Toms River & Manahawkin, Mazda, Subaru, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and soon-to-be Chevrolet.  Also, we will start hiring outgoing, personable individuals ready to give our customers the Lester Glenn experience shortly.  Keep checking back for more information on when we will be hiring and what positions we are looking to fill.
