When I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by the smiling faces of the Sales Staff and then proceeded to the general manager, Tom Allen’s office. After a bit of the normal banter, I mentioned that I saw the Accent on the truck and just wanted to take a closer look when it arrived. That’s all it took.

Tom handed me over to Ralph Grande to crunch some numbers, and see if they could get the numbers where I wanted them to be. It didn’t take long for me to realize that Team Hawk would do anything possible to make the deal work for both of us and we quickly agreed on a more than fair number as the hauler pulled into the lot.

The car I thought was on the hauler didn’t have all the options I was looking for, but the Accent we worked the deal on was the one I wanted. Luck would have it that the my vehicle that was “In Transport” had just arrived at our Toms River location. Scott McIlvaine had a driver pick up the car and bring it down to me to guarantee it was “The One.” Mike Tomaine worked diligently to make sure I was getting the best rate possible with numerous banks. I even had the pleasure of having Tom Allen, write up all my paperwork. Talk about the Lester Glenn experience!

The detailers in the back did an amazing job. The car was immaculate when it was done and ready for me to drive off the lot. Here at Lester Glenn Auto Group we want to make your auto buying experience as pleasurable as possible.

When I entered the main room, we were greeted by Jeeps to the right and GMC’s to the left, two companies we here at Lester Glenn Auto Group are very familiar with.  As I made my way around, I noticed a crowd near one of the imports.  As I walked closer I noticed a more people at this one company compared to the Toyota’s right next to it.  Not really surprised, it was Hyundai.  Coming up to their display area, I was greeted by a Ultimate and Signature Equus, with the Sonata Hybrid and new 5.0 Liter Genesis not far behind.  And then there it was, on a raised platform above all others, the Veloster.  I have to say, the pictures online did it no justice.  This car is an attention getter.  It’s three doors, one for the driver’s side and two for the passenger’s side, were gleaming with a nice orange paint and the lines were sleak but not overstated.  I didn’t get the opportunity to sit in one, but the interior looked perfect for that younger generation with a touchscreen and all other fun gadgets.  Unfortunately my camera didn’t want to work the wonders it normally does, but here are a few pictures.  Don’t forget to check out the 500 horsepower Veloster video here. That is when we look into doing a dealer trade.  Each one of our dealers use a website specific to the car you are looking for to track down your vehicle.  This allows us to view other dealers inventory to find you your vehicle.  It only takes you four easy steps to get you into your dream car:

1. You come into our showroom

2. Tell us exactly what you are looking for

3. Test drive the vehicle (even if it is not the one you want) to make sure it is the right fit for you

4. Tell your sales representative your needs and wants. 

That is where your work ends, and ours begins.

If we don’t have it in our inventory, we will perform a search for you based upon what you told your sales representative. If a vehicle is in another dealer’s inventory, we contact them to see if it is available for trade. When we are told it is available, the other dealer looks at our inventory for a vehicle they would like in return. After they choose a vehicle, paperwork is submitted to our corporate staff and a driver is arranged to pick up your car. When we receive your vehicle, we do an inspection and full detail. Then, you come to our showroom, and drive away in your new vehicle.
